The Modest Start in 1985

Maersk H2S Safety Services was established in 1985, as a result of high concentrations of H2S in the North Sea. An office was established in Svendborg, Denmark and the training of our first H2S Supervisors began.

Already back then, it was of paramount importance that the selected personnel had extensive offshore experience and as a provider of safety services, it was made clear that when dealing with safety, no compromises can be made. Ever since this philosophy has been fundamental in every aspect of our business, ensuring that our service is always carried out with constant care and due consideration to safety.

Then Worldwide

Since the beginning in 1985 we have experienced a constant growth within the business of H2S safety services, and today we operate on a worldwide basis with offices in Denmark, Italy, Norway, Brazil, Australia, Brunei, Congo, UK and the UAE. Whether our services are required in the waters of the North Sea, the Middle East, North- and South America, Far East or onshore, we are committed and able to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

The success of Maersk H2S Safety Services can be attributed to the experience gained over the past three decades. This long-standing experience has been developed through the provision of tailor-made solutions for large-scale and long-term projects, including action in harsh environments.
